It's not much to look at right now, but as soon as we get it rolling it should be better.
The History of TWoPI
The War of Propheterus Incorpatrium (TWoPI) began in November 2005, on Prophets-Inc, Terry Goodkind’s official forum. It began as a lowly thread, entitled ‘What would you be?’ (WWYB), and asked members what role they would fulfil if they lived in Goodkind’s world.
The thread became popular, with many answering the poll. Soon, arguments broke out, and the first “war” began, leading to many of the forum members Rping- a forbidden rule in the forum- this lead to the thread being deleted.
After the deletion of the second WWYB thread, one of the forum’s members, JoAnna Reynolds, created her own website for those who participated in the ‘wars’ to continue, without the worry of the deletion of their posts; thus TWoPI was created, on 11th February 2006.
Since then, TWoPI has become a world of its own, with it’s own unique characters. Stories of the War, and the past and present of the land of Propheterus Incorpatrium have been written giving a greater depth to the RP.
Member numbers slumped after TWoPI’s first year, which lead to the administrators to change the “invite-only” status of the site, and add some changes.
New members now have to work their way up in ranks of “Settlers”, “Villagers”, “Apprentice”, and then are allowed full access to the board as "Members".
Senior members now exist, and have been with the site since the beginning. Along with the staff members, they make up the PI council.
Other changes to the site, the addition of a blue and green skin, as well as the original red skin that gave TWoPI its distinctive look, and a chatbox, allowing the members to communicate within the site, no matter where they are.
With the revival of TWoPI, it would appear that the site’s future is no longer in doubt.
Chronicles
The Chronicles of Propheterus Incorpatrium are written by several of the forum members, involving various characters, and over looked by the Head Chronicler Robert Larsen.
The Chronicles are written throughout various times in the history of Teuran- although, most focus on the time just before the war, during and just after.
The Last Days Saga were the first of the stories written, with a third one currently in production. The first and second instalments were written by Morag Bisset and JoAnna Reynolds respectively, and deal with the impending death of Arcea Drakkarre.
Quest of Trials is a work in progress, which looks at Bound NoMore and Nyda's relationship after the war has ended. It is a collaborative piece between two of the writers.
The Chronicles allow the members of the forum to enhance their characters out with the various role-playing areas that the site offers. They can add depth to their characters, and build up relationships, as well as showing stretching their imaginations.
Currently, there are twenty-one chronicles displayed on the site, with another ten in an archive. Although these twenty-one chronicles are considered canon, they contain a few inconsistencies, all of which are waiting to be edited, or in some cases, entirely rewritten.
The archived ten chronicles were added before the process of the current rewrite, and were felt too inconsistent, or had no place after the reform.
They can still be viewed, as such works that helped build TWoPI will not be destroyed.
