Nyda
From TWoPIWiki
The Rebel Leader. Born in the village of Carden, she was bitten by Faolan at a young age, and thus became one of his pack of werewolves. She slaughtered her people, and lived in bestiality until the Mages of the Tower found her, freed her, and cured her of the madness. From then, she wandered the land. She met Faolan again, and was able to defeat him, taking over his role as leader of the pack. Eventually, they came to inhabit one of the forests bordering Teuran. Not long after, she saved the life of Bound NoMore and he pledged his life to her as her bodyguard. When Lord Heavy came to power, she reproved him strongly, causing him to declare the first war of Propheterus Incorpatrium on her. With her rebel army under her, she fought back for a long time, until Heavy's removal and Arcea Drakkarre's peace treaty came about. She rebelled again later, but was forced to surrender.

Early Life
Born in Carden to Eoghan Finna and Brona Linne in the year 1734.She had four younger siblings; twins, Liadan and Paedrig, Mabon and baby Tully.
She was known in her village to be a quiet child, and she would sit for hours listening to her father. However, she was also the despair of her family, as she seemed to have a wild streak. More happy with her father, and in the surrounding forest, she was often in trouble for tearing and muddying clothes, not completing chores, and disappearing for hours on end. Often accompanied by her younger siblings, she also got them into trouble, but would bear the brunt of their chastisement.
With a quick mind, and eager to learn in classes, Nyda was chosen to learn the Art of the Druids when she reached the appropriate age, with the intention of becoming a Druid herself and practising the worship of the Twin Goddesses
Cursed
At the age of nine, Nyda was captured by Faolan, a former Druid who had been expelled from Carden for practicing forbidden magic, and was bitten by him, making her a werewolf. Under the madness of the Curse of the Lycanthrope, Nyda, along with Faolan, and the wolves he had under his command, brought chaos to the Northern Regions.
After the massacre at Carden, Mages from the Tower ventured forth, seeking justice for the slain innocents. There, Nyda was captured, while Faolan escaped.
Using an ancient, and dangerous spell, the Mages freed Nyda from the madness that Faolan had given her. But in the process, many of the Mages died, and those that had their magic burned from them.
Nyda, freed from Faolan, but not cured from being a Lycanthrope, fled, and returned to Carden. These, she found her memories lost to her in her time under Faolan's control. She left the remains of the village after burying her people, and vowed never to return.
From there, Nyda travelled Teuran, mostly avoiding people, and stealing what she needed.
After a year of travelling, she once again encountered Faolan, and after a fierce battle, Nyda won control of the Pack, and left Faolan to die.
Nyda and the wolves found themselves a home in an ancient forest, where Nyda built her tree house.
A season after Faolan's defeat, Nyda wandered the world again, seeking answers to her lost years. After being caught in a town after dark, on a full moon, Nyda found herself hunted, and had to flee for her life.
It was w hile running for her life, that Nyda happened upon Bound NoMore, who prevented those who were chasing her from following. In gratitude, Nyda cared for the mortally wounded Bound, and unwittingly used her Earth Magic to save his life, and bound him to her.
She returned to her forest with Bound, and he became a part of her life.
War
After a misunderstanding with a traveller through her forest, unknown to her to be Lord Heavy, Nyda found herself a General in the first War of Propheterus Incorpatrium. Many of the poor, and repressed flocked to her, and fought for her ideals. Although the rebel army faced a larger, and highly trained soldiers of the Sky Palace, they faired well, using 'cut and run' tactics favoured by wolves on the hunt.
The rebel army, with their rogue magic wielders that had not been captured by the Mages, were doing well, until the introduction of the Mirbane, with whom Nyda found herself the nemesis of. The rebel army, although did not retreat, but did suffer heavy losses, until the return of Bound NoMore after a mysterious two year absence.
It was after the marriage of Lord Heavy to Arcea Drakkarre, that peace talks began to happen. The Lord Heavy had betrayed Arcea after their wedding, and the two female generals formed plans together to chance the one-time Lord of Teuran from Propheterus Incorpatrium.
With Heavy's threat gone from the land, the rebel army dissipated, happily under the rule of Arcea, and Nyda and Bound returned to their forest home.
Afterwards
After the war, Nyda and Bound NoMore retreated back to their forest home with the wolves, and lived their lives forgotten by most.
Nyda was called upon by Arcea Drakkarre to look after her in her dying days, and also the events told in Quest of Trails are the only known instances of Nyda leaving her forest.
Nyda lived out her days, married to her body guard, until at the age of eighty-three, she died of old age.
